Glaxo-Wellcome (a large pharmaceutical manufacturer with your instructor as CEO) is offering you a $250,000 grant to supplement your research budget.
This money would allow you to conduct two experiments at a time (that is, you may send two staff into the experimental room at a time), thus improving your chances of publishing first.
However, Glaxo-Wellcome CEO must approve your model before you can publish (thus slowing you down a bit), and Glaxo-Wellcome gets to license the product and keep the profits (thus, everyone in your group receives 1 less bonus point than the possible, if you win).
Other groups may have received the same offer, and Glaxo-Wellcome will only support one group. You have five minutes to decide and let the CEO know.
