The Genetic Code

In the table, each three-base DNA 'codon' is paired with the amino acid it causes to be added to a protein as the protein is manufacutred.  The 'Stop' codon end production of the protein.  The color-coding indicates the chemical properties of the amino acid side chains as follows:
